GETTING THERE
From the airport to Gràcia
These routes start at Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), not Girona or Reus. Check your arrival terminal before choosing your transfer.
Aerobús and metro
Take A1 from Terminal 1 or A2 from Terminal 2 to Plaça Catalunya. At Catalunya, join the L3 green metro towards Trinitat Nova, get off at Fontana, then walk to Carrer de l’Or 25.
Aerobús runs 24/7. Allow about 30-35 minutes for the bus ride alone, plus waiting, traffic, the metro connection and your final walk. It needs its own ticket; ordinary city transport tickets do not cover it. Aerobús routes and timetables
R2 Nord train from Terminal 2
Take R2 Nord to Passeig de Gràcia. Change to L3 for Fontana or L4 for Joanic, both towards Trinitat Nova, then walk to the venue. Arriving at Terminal 1? Use the airport’s free inter-terminal shuttle to reach the T2 train station. The shuttle runs around the clock; the train does not.

All-metro option
From either terminal, take L9 Sud to Zona Universitària, then L3 towards Trinitat Nova to Fontana. This avoids road traffic but is a longer cross-city route, not a direct airport-to-Gràcia line. You need an Airport Ticket or a pass valid at the airport stations; an ordinary metro single ticket or T-casual is not valid there. Airport metro and accepted tickets
Taxi with luggage or friends
Use the official black-and-yellow taxis at the airport ranks. Give the driver the full address: Sala Or, Carrer de l’Or 25, Gràcia. The fare normally uses a meter plus applicable supplements, rather than a fixed fare to the venue. Arrange an accessible vehicle in advance if needed. Official airport taxi information
AROUND TOWN
Metro tickets and late nights
Fontana on L3 and Joanic on L4 are useful stops for this part of Gràcia. Use the full venue address in your route planner for the final walk.
After the show on Saturday
Under the normal timetable, Barcelona’s metro runs all night on Saturdays, including the night of 14-15 November. Friday service normally ends at 02:00 and Sunday service at midnight. Check live notices before travelling: works or disruption can affect a specific route.
TMB operating hours
Choose a ticket for your plans
T-casual: ten journeys for one person, not a shared group ticket. Its airport exclusion concerns the L9 metro stations Aeroport T1 and Aeroport T2.
Hola Barcelona Travel Card: unlimited travel for the selected duration, including airport metro travel. Aerobús remains separate unless you specifically buy a combined product.
Compare current fares and conditions with the journeys you expect to make. Validate at every required entry or transfer and keep your ticket until you leave the transport system.

Early flight or late arrival
Aerobús operates 24 hours a day. For your return, choose A1 for T1 or A2 for T2 and check the city boarding point, which may differ from your arrival stop. Allow enough time for the journey and your airline’s check-in requirements. Do not assume the airport train runs overnight.
Aerobús stops and schedules
Plan the whole accessible journey
Aerobús has wheelchair ramps and designated spaces. Check lift status and the complete metro route, not just the destination station. Ask Sala Or and your accommodation about step-free entrances, lifts and bathrooms before booking; being near a metro station does not guarantee step-free access.

ENJOY THE CITY
Make room for Barcelona
You do not need a packed itinerary. Give yourself time for a meal, a neighbourhood wander and an unhurried arrival at the show.
Spend some time in Gràcia
Explore Carrer de Verdi, Plaça de la Virreina, Plaça del Diamant and Plaça del Sol. They make a good area for coffee or lunch before the music. These are everyday neighbourhood places, not organised concert meeting points. Check restaurant kitchen hours and reserve ahead for a group.
Gràcia neighbourhood squares
Choose one Gaudí visit
Casa Vicens on Carolines 20-26 is in Gràcia. If Park Güell is your priority, book online ahead and plan the journey separately; slopes and steps can matter for accessibility. For Sagrada Família, use the official timed-ticket booking site. Avoid trying to squeeze every major sight in before the concert.
If you have another day
Wander the Gothic Quarter and continue towards Port Vell or the Barceloneta waterfront if the weather suits. Leave this for a separate outing rather than rushing back across the city before the show.
A few practical things
Pack comfortable shoes, layers and a light waterproof; check the forecast close to departure. Keep belongings close on public transport, in crowds and at cafés, and never leave luggage unattended. For an emergency, call 112.
Barcelona safety advice
Be a good guest
Gràcia is a residential neighbourhood. Keep voices down after the gig, support local businesses and use walking or public transport where practical. Travel advice changes: reopen the linked official sources before booking or setting off.
