GRATEFUL TRIPS

FIND YOUR WAY TO THE MUSIC.

Some of the best journeys start with a show and a few people who love the same music.

Grateful Trips is a community idea taking shape: a place to share practical travel know-how and help Deadheads find their way to concerts and gatherings across Europe.

We’re starting small, with friendship, local knowledge and a little help from each other.

A LITTLE LOCAL KNOWLEDGE GOES A LONG WAY

LESS GUESSWORK. MORE CONNECTION.

The aim is to bring useful information together around individual events, so planning the journey feels a little easier.

GETTING THERE

Train, bus and airport connections, the last stretch to the venue, and useful things to know before setting off.

PLACES TO STAY

Accommodation areas, camping options where available, and local pointers to help you choose what works for you.

AROUND TOWN

Local transport, food spots, practical tips and the small details that make arriving somewhere new feel less unfamiliar.

FELLOW TRAVELLERS

Ways to connect with other people heading to the same show, exchange tips and explore travelling together by mutual agreement.

ONE OR TWO SHOWS TO BEGIN WITH

LET’S START

We’re beginning with two example event pages while the practical travel guides take shape. Local details are still being gathered, and the list will grow as the community helps define it.

If you have a show in mind, know a town well or would like to help gather the details, we’d love to hear from you.

MADE BY THE COMMUNITY, FOR THE COMMUNITY

KEEP THE GOOD THINGS MOVING.

The idea is simple: practical help shared freely, with no fee for community advice. Everyone makes and pays for their own travel, accommodation and ticket arrangements.

If you would like to give something back, you can support a band, local organiser or community project directly. Any contribution would be entirely voluntary and separate from getting help.

Over time, we hope these connections might also help new gatherings happen, bring equipment where it’s needed, or make room for a miracle ticket. Those are possibilities to explore together as the project grows.

KNOW A PLACE? HEADING TO A SHOW?

THERE’S ROOM FOR YOUR IDEAS.

Tell us where you’re heading, what you know, or how you’d like to lend a hand. Grateful Trips will grow through the people who take part.
