A full weekend of amazing Americana music brought to you by Barko Waltz, Blueroomess and Grateful Nights.
We have some fantastic news to share: After eight wonderful Dead shows at Kulturhaus Insel Berlin in 2026, our Europe Deadheads community returns to the Island for a full-blown festival in March 2027 – with more than ten hours of live music across the weekend!
The weekend starts on Friday with Barko Waltz and Blueroomess, setting the mood with a rootsy blend of rock ’n’ roll, americana, folk, country and blues. Barko Waltz brings together echoes of Beck, The Kinks and Captain Beefheart, while Blueroomess draw deeply from American roots music, the laid-back Tulsa sound and the energy of skiffle.
On Saturday and Sunday, Barcelona’s Grateful Nights will take the stage for two full nights of their favorite Grateful Dead music. There’ll be plenty of room for the songs to breathe, wander and explore – and for us Heads to discover once again the magic of the music we love. Having headlined the Deadhead festivals Playing in the Band in Germany and Eyes of the Algarve in Portugal, the band probably need little introduction to many of us!
Of course, the festival is meant to be more than the shows. Plans for pre-show hangouts, after-show parties and workshops are already in the works.
